Understanding basic requirements and constraints in embedded system design. Analysing issues and problems related to the bond between the embedded software solutions and the properties of the underlined embedded hardware. Review of basic concepts and methodologies applicable in embedded software design and in the other phases of software development life cycle. Introduction to fundamentals of real-time systems, scheduling theory, multitasking concepts and the principles of development and design of real-time embedded systems. Theoretical background, basic methodologies and concepts for the design of IoT systems from the embedded systems perspective. The aspects of the networked embedded systems design applicable in the world of smart things and modern application concepts.
报告人简介:
Ivan Popovic received the BSEE, MSEE, and PhD degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 1996, 1999, and 2007, respectively. Since 1997, he has been affiliated with the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, Serbia, where he is currently Associate Professor, teaching courses in embedded system design and applied electronics. His 20+years engineering experience and research interests include areas of real-time systems, embedded systems design and development, microcontroller systems, low power design, multiprocessor systems, sensor networks and smart sensor design and applications, distributed computing models applicable in large-scale network.
Participated in more than 25 research and development and industry projects where 10 of them were approved and supported by Ministry of Science and Technology, 2 by Government of Serbia and 2 by European Commission.
Coauthor in more than 100 original scientific papers, 10 of them in SCI journals. Co-author of more than 40 certified technical solutions in different areas of electrical engineering.
Author of the books "Digital electronics - collection of solved problems" from 2006 and "Embedded systems" from 2017.
